Sanctified Army Ministries is the local and global church that belongs to ALL believers. If you are “saved”, also referred to as “born again”; meaning that you have received the salvation of Jesus Christ, then you are part of the Army of God. As a believer, you are Sanctified, and called of God, to operate in, and carry out, the Word of God.
If you have not yet received the gift of salvation and made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life; we will help you to receive this awesome gift from God. We welcome you to the family of God, the body of Christ.
We, Sanctified Army Ministries, are called, anointed, and sent by God, to teach VICTORY OVER THE MIND: YOUR NEXT LEVEL, by the grace of God, through the law of faith, the mind of Christ Jesus; to the Christian community and to all the world. Every person, all humanity, has been blessed with gifts and talents, to be used by God to reveal HIS Glory in the earth realm. These gifts are intended to bring about blessings to us all, and to magnify and Glorify God.
In essence, and in contrast to “traditional church”, we focus on and excel in teaching biblical principles and spiritual laws; that when applied, are guaranteed to elevate your life to your next level …revealing qualities within you, that you have yet to discover, about yourself.

ABOUT ME
Bishop Alja Thompson
Bishop Alja Thompson is the founder and senior pastor of Sanctified Army Ministries (SAM). He started his career as a young musician in New Orleans, playing the drums in Mardi Gras parades and with jazz ensembles on the Mark Twain River Boat. After moving to Los Angeles, he performed with major recording artists such as the “Godfather of Soul” James Brown, War, The Sylvers, and Rick James. He subsequently went on to record four albums, under the CBS Records label, with the funk rock group, General Caine. in spite of his success, Alja felt like something was missing.
He picked up the Holy Bible and was inspired by Proverbs 3:5-6, which led him to seek the wisdom and direction of God. He eventually answered the call to ministry and founded SAM to encourage his followers to “Fight the Good Fight of Faith” and to walk proudly as soldiers in the Army of God.
He also embarked upon his passion for music and established the Sanctified Army Praise Team, which has been able to share the Word of God in song with the Christian and non-religious community. Alja produced his first album, VICTORY!, with songs such as Miracles, The Pit, God’s Army, and Victory, and his second album, soon to be released by Productive People Productions, “Things I Used To Do,”
Alja’s first book, “Victory Over The Mind: In Control or Out of Control,” is a divine inspiration that teaches how to gain victory over the mind and begin operating with the mind of Christ. His latest book, “Best Teacher: Instruction or Experience,” recently published and released by TBN Trilogy Christian Book Publications, continues to guide humanity to victory in all areas of life through the law of faith, the mind of Christ Jesus, and our salvation. We are all accountable to God’s Devine Instructions.
